welcome, im senga

My art is a conduit for processing emotion and celebrating cherished memories. By allowing intuition to guide my hand and imagination to shape a narrative, I set out on a journey with each painting that has no predetermined ending.

I then invite viewers to embark on their own voyage of discovery, to unravel the threads of their memories and emotions, and to find inspiration within the depths of the painting.

I am delighted to present my latest series

Somewhere Between Two Extremes

The past and present, the physical and the emotional, the abstract and the real, balance somewhere between two extremes. It is in that space that my work lies, in that in-between place where stories, like our lives, continue to unfold.

Late Night Thoughts

In this collection, I have been reflecting on the profound importance of light in my life, both in a literal and metaphorical sense. Positive thought, like light in the darkness, has the remarkable ability to sustain us during challenging times, and I have come to appreciate the importance of seeking out life's joys.

These new paintings are inspired by the excitement and energy I experience when creative ideas spark, especially during the quieter moments late at night. Many artists, myself included, find that the late hours provide an ideal environment for focused work. In those serene hours, I can immerse myself in painting without interruptions. There are also times when I find myself awake in the middle of the night, my mind buzzing with creative possibilities, or waking up with an idea that I eagerly develop in the studio later on.
